  • Check-in data: The thoughts and reflections you share during daily check-ins
  • AI conversation history: Your questions and our AI's responses
  • Voice data: Audio transcriptions (audio is processed but not stored long-term)
  • Usage data: How you interact with our service

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide AI-powered insights and coaching based on your check-ins
  • Track your progress and generate clarity scores
  • Improve our service and develop new features
  • Send you weekly digest emails (if enabled)
  • Process payments through Stripe

3. Voice Data Processing

When you use voice input:

  • Audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription
  • Only the text transcription is stored, not the audio file
  • Audio data is processed in real-time and discarded immediately

4. Payment Processing

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

5. Data Retention

  • Check-in data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days
  • You can request data export or deletion at any time

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Delete your account and data
  • Portability: Export your data in a common format

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI: AI processing and voice transcription
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • PostHog: Product analytics (EU-hosted, only with your consent)
  • Microsoft Clarity: Session recordings and heatmaps (only with your consent)

7a. Analytics & Cookie Consent

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) for product analytics and Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps. These tools help us understand how our service is used and improve your experience.

  • Consent required: Analytics cookies are only activated when you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner or the toggle in your Settings page.
  • What is collected: Page views, feature usage, click patterns, and anonymized session recordings. All inputs in recordings are masked.
  • Data location: PostHog analytics data is processed and stored in the EU.
  • Managing preferences: You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer or the analytics toggle in Settings.
  • Do Not Track: We respect the Do Not Track (DNT) signal sent by your browser. When DNT is enabled, analytics will not be activated regardless of consent settings.

Essential cookies for authentication (session cookie) and user preferences (theme, locale, currency) are always active and do not require consent, as they are strictly necessary for the service to function.
